Project Overview
McLean Strategic Solutions are currently providing environment and approvals management support to CopperString 2032 Project.
The overall project has a budget of $5 billion. Building 840km of new electricity transmission line from just south of Townsville to Mount Isa that will connect Qld's North West Minerals Province to the National Electricity Market.
The UGL CPB Joint Venture are delivering this project.
Our Brief
McLean Strategic Solutions' involvement in the project is ongoing beginning Jan 2024.

Implement the requirements of the Early Works Construction Environmental Management Plan for all field work elements including:
- Management of Land Access Permits
- Ensuring controls remain valid based on risk
- Assurance and reporting
